Say hello to Koojay’s Lemonade!
We’d like to take a minute to introduce ourselves to the world. We’re the “Koojay” Family, and in 2017, we founded 808 Shave Ice — a frozen dessert company that’s amassed an incredible following in our local area. We’re a real family, running a family owned and operated small business. Nothing is changing with 808!
We’re entrepreneurs at heart. Building and growing business is a passion that the family shares, and we’re always looking at how we can take our dreams to the next level. That’s where Koojay’s Lemonade comes in. Our newest venture, Koojay’s Lemonade, is taking the streets with a big goal: to become a household name as a national lemonade company. Our first truck will hit the streets right here in Northeast Ohio next month before expanding into the national market.
So what’s Koojay’s Lemonade? Well, simply speaking, it’s a lemon based drink and dessert company. We craft products that include our fresh and frozen lemonade, soft frozen lemonade, lemon sorbet, lemon Italian ice, push pops, ice cream, and more. We also have create-your-own custom options for private events, where we bring your one of a kind flavor ideas to life. Our products are those that everyone can enjoy at a variety of events. You can trust that when consuming a product from Koojay’s, you’re receiving a premium product made with premium natural ingredients. Real lemon juice. Real sugar. Natural flavors. Eco-friendly disposables. Minimal and even no preservatives in most cases. We’re the real deal.
A mission of ours is to do good in the communities we serve. We proudly commit 5% of every sale to the Koojay Community Fund — a fund supporting people, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating lasting local impact. These funds are used for things like supporting youth programs, paying off school lunches, donating items to those in need, etc. In a time of increasing automation and artificial intelligence, we’re committed to creating real jobs for real people, keeping money in the neighborhoods we serve while promoting strong work ethic, opportunity, and growth. Fundraising is the heart of our business, with a 30% “give back” to qualifying non profits.
