The chickens are loving their living arrangements! Introducing the new and improved Eggmobile! With a rainwater catchment system to have plenty of drinking water on tap, an automatic coop door so they don't have to wait in the mornings to be let out, nest boxes with easy outside access for humans to gather their eggs, plenty of roost space out of the wind and weather, a varmit-proof Grandpa's treadle feeder that can hold days worth of feed at a time, a wire mesh floor so the manure falls to the ground, and a big yard space (about 1/4 acre) surrounded by a 364' of electric netting fence protecting them from ground predators. Once this area gets worn out, the fence will be pulled up and and the Eggmobile gets moved to fresh grass. What more could a chicken ask for?? Now, hopefully they'll start laying more eggs soon!!
