Still waiting for Timberview DS Ali to have her calf. She's the last one due this fall. Padme's calf has had a name change it only seemed fitting for her to be called Leia.

Please excuse the mud, we had rain for 3 days straight and someone, we won't say who, may have left the water on, lol.

We had some enthusiastic helpers on the farm yesterday. Oh Susanna and KatieDid have not had much halter training before this. These boys jumped right in and got the halters on them and were able to walk them.

At one point one of them said I wonder if Susanna will let me ride her, I and all my wisdom say oh probably not she's a little shy. Next thing I know, I turn around and there he is sitting on her back LOL. Of course the other one had to take a turn also. No heifers or boys were hurt during this exercise lol.

Sunshine fills northeast Ohio again this morning. Lake Iver Boone has returned home, getting comfortable with his herd once again. Earlier this week, some calves were relocated for weaning, while young heifers were moved to avoid the bull. Everyone has adjusted to their new environment, and tranquility has been restored.
