Ok, here’s one for the gurus!!!
At least three littermates are dropping their tails in the ring. One raises it right back up while the others raise it back up in varying time frames. Touch them with a stick mid rib back, and it drops again. Standing in a pen, no issues and tails are wagging. Never seen one do it, much less 1/3 or so of the litter.
Thoughts on cause or any tricks to fix?

An absolute monster find from a firm that is known for making industry-changing boars for years now!! We found “Let's Go” at the spring edition of the Lackey Farm Sale and he is everything you would expect from a boar originating from Bobell Farms. He's the perfect blend of insane stoutness with the neatest head you could ever want. “Let's Go” has LARGE limbs with incredible turn to his rib cage. He was a little guy when we bought him so he wasn't ready to roll for spring litters, but I can tell you that through the summer and watching this one grow up, the anticipation for us to breed sows to him has been about as high as anything. We put a lot of stock in animals that don't change a lot through growth period. He was a stud baby and stayed a stud big one all the way through. Just to add a little icing on the cake, his mate sister was the Grand Gilt at the 2024 Georgia National Fair for Jada Dent! “Let's Go” will see a large section of sows here and I know early visitors have booked lots of semen already.

BREEDING TIP: To us, Let's Go looks like a boar that will add rib cage and productivity without sacrificing extra bone, hair and spread. Take to sows that need more of those qualities and it should be a fun ride!

This lot allows ONE livestock trailer and ONE tack vehicle for the Junior Market Swine Show unloading at the 2024 National Western Stock Show. Buyers are allowed to purchase multiple lots. Additional tack trucks will not be allowed in designated area to unload with you.
