Hey all you Little Bean followers! It’s been an absolutely rough 2020 for everyone! In lieu of this unfortunate time I have some news to share. In December I sadly closed my commercial kitchen.
I have been struggling with an arm issue for quite some time now and finally received some answers. I have a condition called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which causes my neck, shoulder and arm to have severe nerve pain, muscle weakness, and numbness and tingling from the compression of the brachial plexus. After many diagnostic tests and different forms of various treatments to figure out what will help and/or treat it, I’ve decided that surgery is the best option for me.
In a week and a half I will be having a robotic first rib resection and scalenectomy. In short, they’re taking out my entire first rib and cutting away some muscle around the nerves their compressing.
Right now I am not sure if this will completely cure me so I will not know if or when I will be starting my business back up.
If anyone has any questions please send me a message or give me a call.
I’m still trying to keep up with my skills even though it’s slow going. Here’s some pictures of the cakes I made for my two Littles’ birthdays the last couple of months.
Thanks for all of your support!!!!
Jamie ❤️
