The alignment of Sunday, Summer Solctise and Fathers Day felt like a good day to turn the bulls out.

Griff got a couple of special cows who I dont have daughters from.

Tomahawk got the heifers.

The new boy got the majority of the herd!!!

Next years calves will start arriving at the end of March / early April.

Isabella just turned one year!!!

I couldn’t believe my luck when this heifer was born. I’d waited years to get a heifer from Millie (JL 991).Isabella’s sire is Spanish Santa Fe MC 85.

She brings in the genetics of the old girls Connie & Dottie. That in itself is really special!!!

The pictures & sunshine are almost showing her very unusual dilute brindle stripes.

Griff has produced some nice calves.

I am getting some rain and the calves are growing like weeds.

Great memory!!! Sometimes you have to believe in yourself.

I used Griff on a couple heifers before he was sold to another Butler breeder. A couple years ago I bought him back in partnership with yet another Butler breeder.

He returned to WA a couple years ago. 2026 is his first full calf crop born here.

I still have him. Pictures of his daughters in the comments.
