Named for Rocky Run Stream that passes through our fields, we (Marina and Opie) started this homestead farm as a way to raise and grow food for our family. With farming in both of our bloods, we have a deep love for watching our hard work turn into something that nourishes our family. At Rocky Run Farm, we have a small herd of Mini Nubians who provide us with fresh milk. We also raise laying hens

as well as ducks who provide us with fresh eggs all year round. During the warmer months, we pasture raise meat chickens. Our little farm managers love their farm fresh eggs, milk and chicken.

Yesterday, the farm manager tried her hand at her very first 🐷 show at the Steuben Showdown! Paisley has been working hard learning all about pig showmanship as well as how to care for them.

We owe many thanks to our friends, the Wilkes family! None of this would be possible without them.

Next stop- Ontario County Fair!

Last Saturday, the farm manager and the boss took their goats on their first 4-H Pack Goat Walk.

Skye may have broke her collar twice, showed everyone her abstract panting behaviors and walked with her head cocked 90 degrees and pushed into Liberty's side...(it's safe to say she's just as feral as her favorite human)...but everyone had fun!

We can't wait for our next walk!
