Our wines are hand crafted in small quantities with minimal input.

Our love of both old and new world wines not masked by manipulation drove us to this project. Making wine the way it should be! Unfined and unfiltered with a little bit of art and science. We seek local fruit from some of the best vineyards in Colorado. The fruit is picked as close to optimum, fermented with a selected yeast strain and aged for complexity, utilizing an experienced blend of art and science. Our wines are hand crafted in small quantities with minimal input, letting the wine age and evolve over time. We only make the wines we love to drink so we hope you enjoy this wine experience.

Our high production standards ensure quality wine in every bottle. Unfined, our wines are not fined with any materials, no animal based fining agent are ever used in the making of our wines. Unfiltered- because we hate filtering wine, it's a waste of time and we like sediment. We feel wine needs a little bit of art and science but doesn’t need to be heavily manipulated so our wines don't need to have high doses of sulfites.

We have three wines available in September 2019. A Tempranillo, Mourvedre and a SMV Syrah, Mourvedre, Viognier blend.

2016 Tempranillo

Pronounced "Temp-rah-nee-yo".

Not your typical turbo charged fruit bomb. This wine has been aged for 26 months in old French oak barrels. It is full bodied with aromas and flavors of leather, plum and to***co characters, like a classic old Spanish red wine. Drink now or cellar for more than 10 years. Limited quantities of only 170 cases were produced.

Best pairings are with braised, stewed or roasted meats, or game birds with a fruit sauce.

2017 Mourvedre

Pronounced "More-veh-drha".

This wine has been aged for 17 months in French oak barrels. It is an elegant red wine with aromas and flavors of cherry, chocolate and hints of dried herbs. The balance is awesome with moderate tannin that integrate with the rest of the wines components. Drink now or cellar for 5 years. Extremely limited quantities of only 70 cases produced.

Best pairings are any hearty and meaty dishes especially grilled. Try a hearty soup or stew made with beef, pork, lamb or sausage.

2017 SMV Syrah, Mourvedre, Viognier

The SMV is a blend of 85% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, 5% Viognier. The Syrah and Viognier were crushed and fermented (co-fermented) and aged together for 18 months in French oak barrels. The Mourvedre was aged for 17 months in French oak barrels. This wine has an explosion of aromas and flavors of white pepper, berry fruits, figs and hint of orange blossom. Drink now or cellar for 10 years. Limited quantity of only 170 cases were produced.

Best pairings are grilled lamb, smoked pork shoulder or spicy grilled eggplant.
