Rycin Stables has a rare opportunity to add 1-2 well behaved, retired horses to its herd of three.

We are a private equine retirement facility that specializes in individualized care.

We offer an affordable ($900) full board with:
-12x12 stalls equipped with therapeutic mattresses system
- European style stalls with Dutch doors opened 24/7 to a 1/4-1/2 acre private walkout
- All day turnout in 15 acres of well maintained grassy fields
- Heated, automatic waterers in stalls and in pastures
- Oversized, run in sheds
- Owner lives on premises
-Night check
-1st and/or 2nd cutting local hay
- And so much more!

We are looking for an older, retired horse that would like to be spoiled and live in the best possible accommodations through its golden years. Must be lower in the herd kind of type. Gelding or a mare, as long as gets along well with other horses and is at the bottom of the “pecking order”.

No layups.

Or…free board for several years if you can put up an outdoor riding ring 🙂

Cajun
April 6, 1995-February 4, 2026.

Today we said goodbye to Cajun, who was with us for almost 6 years and became an integral part of our family. At almost 31, his body has failed him…yet till the very last moment he remained who he always has been: the sweetest, most loving boy, a perfect gentleman with heart pure of gold.
Run free Caj, we hope you already found Hammer and Pressage, and that the three of you are galloping across the heavenly meadows at the highest speed.
Rest In Peace, sweet boy. You are already missed. Our barn will never be the same without your soft nicker.
