Guys I have a deer that has been abandoned for 30 days and my phone calls and text msgs are being ignored. We are open again for the rest of the season. So any last minute harvests, just give us a call and we are happy to take care of it for you. But as far as taxidermy goes, we dont have the time with deer processing going on to finish up the mounts. We are putting in long days trying to stay ahead but after season, we will be jumping back on the deer mounts and trying to get things out as quickly as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we are being as diligent as possible and will have yours out as soon as we can. We wanted to take the time to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and Happiest of Holidays from our family to yours! With that being said we will be closed Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th. We have been working around the clock for months now and this is our time to spend with our families. So please, no phone calls. We wont be taking any deer or doing any pickups. So if you have been called please do your best to get in there today. We will be open as usual on Friday. So if you are working on that end of the season harvest, we will be taking in til the end of the season. If we can help you in any way, please feel free to call or shoot me a msg on here. Hey guys, we will not be accepting deer November 16, 17, and 18. Pre existing engagement that puts us out of town for those days. Im truly sorry for the inconvenience but we will be taking in all day Saturday. If anything within this schedule changes, I will let you all know. Hey guys, Im sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but opening velvet hunt this year falls on our annual Maine Bear Hunt. So we will not be open for processing that weekend but if you need our taxidermy assistance, msg me on here and I will get back to you with instructions for the care of your animal. I hope everyone has a safe and successful harvest and we look forward to a big season this year! The icehouse cooler will be up and running for the season to accommodate more processing space! Other than that, nothing else will be changing for the 2025 deer season at Bear Claw Deer Processing! I do want to remind everyone, especially in this early season heat, to make sure you use any and all means necessary to steer clear of ticks! Alpha Gal Syndrome, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and Lyme Disease are at a bit of an epidemic, and you dont want to be any part of it! Best of luck to you all! With the holidays vastly approaching, we are doing our best to get as much done and ready as possible. Our current holiday hours are as follows, Christmas Eve we will be closing at noon. No pick ups or drop offs after 12 o'clock. Closed all day christmas. Please respect our hours and family time by scheduling pick ups before we close christmas eve and don't call on Christmas. Hey folks, as the season starts to slow down, we are taking deer but we do ask that you call before just showing up. With our limited space, we can only take in as many in a day as we can cut up.
