Just another Tuesday night 🤗

The end of the season is coming fast and it has us burning with a new sense of urgency to get the pumpkins (and squash) out before a harder frost hits. We’re tired, but we have a few more big orders to fill on top of keeping the stand filled so we aren’t slowing down just yet.

This day rolls around every year and it never gets easier. The first chance of frost is met with us holding our breath and sending up prayers that the pumpkins in the field don’t get totaled. Everything at the stand is tucked in and will be fine, but there are a lot of pumpkins left out in the field…and we have a handful of big orders left to fill. So on that note, we say goodnight and we look forward to a beautiful busy day tomorrow!

It’s cold and windy out today, but the sun is shining! We went out this morning and restocked orange pumpkins so we have a full selection of all varieties. Cookies have also been restocked and we’re steaming when they were delivered to the stand 🍪

As with many of our products we are constantly adding and adjusting varieties based on suggestions and feedback from customers. This is especially true for our squash. Just a couple years ago we offered maybe 3-4 varieties, but now we have more than doubled our varieties!

Here’s what we have:

Spaghetti
Honeynut (not out yet, but will be available soon!)

We have plenty of each variety available and will hopefully continue to offer squash well into November!

We are open today! It’s a bit muddy (just wear boots and stay on the straw paths), but it’s not raining! We are fully stocked and we even have some treats available for the kids.
