Have you ever sung a song so loud and proud . . . only to find out YEARS later you'd been singing the wrong lyrics?🤣

I used to belt out:

Apparently, it's: 🎶 Everybody's working FOR the weekend! 🎶

Whatever, I worked every weekend. My version made more sense.

Now, while the rest of you are out singing Loverboy the right way, I'll confidently continue singing my version.

Happy Friday! I’ve been asked several times in the past weeks when my final day for the season is. My answer . . . when it starts snowing 🌨️. I know I need to decide on an actual date, but for now that’s what the answer is. I’m in this for the long haul and I hope you’ll continue to come out and support not only my small business but the amazing park it sits in.

Oh yeah, the credit card machine is working again, so bring out your card (or cash) and enjoy a treat today. It’s going to be beautiful out.

UPDATE: Sorry for the late update. The babies did utilize the ladder I put out for them and safely escaped. Thanks to whomever put my ladder by the back door. I panicked for a minute thinking someone - rightfully - got themselves a brand new ladder out of the dumpster.

Like most of our mornings (please tell me it’s not just me) I greatly underestimated the time it’d take me to get everything done before opening today. As I was packing up all my stuff to carry into the building, I heard a squeak coming from the dumpster. I opened the lid and found these cuties. This was definitely not on my to do list today, but I put out a ladder for them to, hopefully, crawl themselves out with. This was just a small reminder of how much I love being out at Weldon Springs and seeing nature surviving like the rest of us.

Keeping up with the burger talk . . . have you tried the Southwest Burger? Toasted bun, grilled burger, cheddar cheese, bacon, bbq sauce and homemade onion rings. It’s perfection on a bun. Pair it with some more onion rings because you just can’t get enough. Happy Sunday everyone!

Let's talk burgers. The Supreme Nacho Burger is probably my favorite thing on the menu. On a toasted bun, I add cheese (comes with nacho cheese, but I substituted for cheddar cheese), homemade salsa, homemade jalapeno relish, sour cream, I added lettuce and a couple tortilla chips. I pair it with delicious homemade fries (cut fresh daily). There are so many flavors in this burger and each one is amazing. Come try it and let me know what you think.
