It’s been almost a week since I’ve picked and the garden hasn’t slowed down. I’ve been under the weather a few days and today finally back out and at it. Hot peppers of all kinds are on the left basket and sweet are on the right basket. That’s 5 gallons of okra on ten pounds of cherry tomatoes. I’m thinking about vacuum sealing some okra and freezing it for gumbo this winter. I’m also going to try and slice and dehydrate cherry tomatoes to try to make sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil.
