Hey Deb, What's Cook'n? Hey everyone! Welcome to 'Hey Deb! Let's get cook'n! Hey, I'm Deb, and I'm just a simple food lover from Brooklyn. I think it will be fun.

What's Cook'n?' From Central NY to the Mohawk Valley, we're bringing Brooklyn flavor to your table! 🍳 Enjoy great recipes and local flavors while supporting small businesses. I moved to this godforsaken Upstate New York area 25 years ago, but I still have my accent. (It's actually all of you who have the accent!) So I'm an insurance fraud investigator by day, but my true passion is food. I love to cook and eat, and I'm always experimenting with new recipes. I'm also a big fan of trying new restaurants, and I'm not afraid to give my honest opinion (Oh, you just wait). I'm starting this page to share my love of food with the world, and with my family and friends. I'll be posting recipes, restaurant/food reviews, and behind-the-scenes photos from my kitchen. I'll also share some funny stories about my day-to-day life with my husband Jerry, my kids Amedeo, and Brooke, my stepson Ryan, and our crazy dog Pippi. And I'm also inviting everyone to share their own recipes and food reviews on the page. Let's make this a community where we can all celebrate our love of food! So if you love food like me, then you'll definitely want to follow my page. I promise to keep things fun and not so serious. I save that for my day job 😉

Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta, Hey Deb style. Loads of garlic, Parmesan, butter, fresh basil, a little red pepper kick, and a sauce that should probably come with a warning label.

Simple ingredients. Big flavor. Zero chance of leftovers. 😂❤️🇮🇹

🍕 Garlic white pizza

Three pizzas, one oven, and WAY cheaper than ordering out. And the best part? My homemade sauce made the whole operation possible. ❤️🍅
Everybody got what they wanted, nobody complained, and somehow I became a pizzeria.

Today on Hey Deb! What’s Cook’n? we’re bringing back one from the vault: Triple Cheese, Chicken Parm Pasta Bake. 🍝

We shot this a few years ago, and since we’re making it again today, we figured it deserved a little comeback tour. New recipe card, same cheesy, saucy, one-pan happiness. 🧀

It’s pasta, chicken, crushed tomatoes, garlic, mozzarella, sharp provolone, Parmesan, panko, butter… basically a warm hug with a carb problem.
