We are sad to share the passing of Rich Sr, the man who kept the Grubb Family Farm on Whidbey Island (and the Grubb Family) up and running. Rich Sr will be greatly missed by his 2 sisters, bride of 60 years, Mary Louis, their 4 sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dad and I inoculated this oak tree that we cut down the day his beloved aunt Mabel died almost exactly seven years ago. Today we are harvested mushrooms for dinner with clams from the beach in front of our neighbors Doug and Cam Green.

Sunday on the farm. Winterizing the ski boat with Dad and Armani. Mike and Ann Brixner came over for mass. I made sweet and sour shrimp for dinner. Mom and Dad said goodbye to Zoe the little dog who they took care of for the last few weeks.
