⚡🥹THE COMPASSIONATE SIDE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT🥹⚡

This is the side of law enforcement we don’t hear about enough. Linnea, a Placerville resident, called for help this weekend because she was feeling extremely lonely. Living alone with no nearby family, Linnea reached out, and Deputy Lane responded.

Deputy Lane spent quality time with Linnea, ensuring she had everything she needed and listening to stories about her "very interesting life." Though duty called, before leaving, Deputy Lane contacted Sierra Chaplaincy to arrange for a chaplain to visit Linnea and is working on finding additional resources for her.

This "Total Care" approach is exactly what we look for in our deputies. Great work, Deputy Lane!

This story serves as a reminder of the compassion and care that law enforcement officers can bring to their communities.
