Partnered with Broken Willow Ranch we are striving to produce superior quality Boer goats, bred first for conformation and then unique coloring for both 4H and 100% fullblood seed stock. The kids are grown and gone so Joe and I bought our little 10 acre homestead in 2012 with the hopes of raising Alpacas. Instead we switched gears and chose Boers, our first three bottle babies came home in Feb of
2014 and we haven't looked back. Along with the goats we have horses, dogs, a donkey, a mule, and chickens. We sell eggs but are hoping to also raise our own pork, beef, and turkey. In Feb of 2015 we plan on bringing home a gorgeous September 2014 black buck with dappling in his colorful genes. He is registered fullblood and will be the start of something great! Along with Onyx we also have Tarzan, an unregistered traditional Boer buck who is the sire of our first three 2015 babies. He has two more does due in April! All of his kids will do well in the 4H show circuit.
