It’s been a roller coaster few days!!!
Mrs Garret crushed 2 piglets last night. One of Trixie’s piglets looked like it was having breathing issues, so gave her some antibiotics. Then Trixie crushed 1 last night/this morning (not the sick one). So now down to 16 piglets from 19. Whilst hubby was getting hay, he found some newborn abandoned kittens. Needless to say, we now have 2 newborn kittens, eyes still closed & 1 still has umbilical cord attached. Finally got them both to take a bottle good. Peeing great so far. Looks like 2 little girls! Barny (our once barn cat, now indoor tripod) was super protective over them. He was licking their heads while I bottle fed them. I think they’ll get along great!
