Weekend grilling season is upon us, don’t be caught meat-less!

Here are a few farmer favorites for throwing on the BBQ this weekend: our grass fed/finished beef sausage, ribeye steak, and burger patties, organic chicken leg quarters with or without the bone 🥩🍗 ♨️

Hows the harvest at home?

Annie’s beets sized up nicely and are ready for roasting.

If you got some plants at our plant sale, it’s about time for a lot crops to start coming out of the ground.

And if this is giving you some fomo, there is still tons of time to plant crops! We still have herbs, flowers, seeds, roots, bunching greens, cucumbers and potted tomatoes at the market.

We think herbs are just DIVINE and wayyy under appreciated. Aromatic! Crunchy! Flavorful! Tender! Bold! What isn't to like?

Make an outstanding and fresh lunch or dinner this week with a herb salad:
-3-4 bunches of different types of herb, any will do
-Salad mix or your favorite lettuces
-Zucchini
Finely chop all the herbs, tender stems too if you chop them fine enough.
Thinly slice several zucchini.
Toss the salad mix/lettuces into a bowl and mix with all the herbs.
Squeeze lemon, drizzle a good olive oil, and a pinch of salt over, toss, and eat!

There's no question what's on the meal plan for this week's dinners: chicken and beef!

This week we've got a double delivery of fresh meat! Fresh chicken and beef arriving today and available fresh until Sunday.

We are open normal hours today, and it looks like we'll get a break in the weather just in time for afternoon grilling.

Stop by for your grill fixins' - chicken wings, hamburgers, sausage (have you tried our beef sausage yet??), and don't forget onions and asparagus on the grill are so good, too.
