Papa Elf's Christmas Trees

Papa Elf's Christmas Trees Papa Elf’s is no longer in business. Thank you for checking us out. We may return in the next couple of years but not in business this year.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Welcome to Papa Elf’s Christmas Trees. For those of you that have been here before, things have changed a little bit. Take a look around and see what is different. For some it is good news, others it may not be. This year, we will not be operating the tree farm in the usual manner. For the past couple of years we have been partnered with a couple of schools and social

helps groups in the Clover, Lake Wylie, York County, and Gaston County area. Through those organizations and through the generosity of many many people, we have provided hundreds of free Christmas Trees to those who might not otherwise be able to afford one for Christmas. We have also operated a tree lot at the Mulch yard in Lake Wylie where many of you have come to purchase your Christmas tree, sit around the campfire, roast some marshmallows, share some laughter, participate in Advent services, and even see Santa Clause live and in person. This year, Papa Elf's Christmas Trees will be operating a little differently. Because of some location, zoning, and staffing issues, we will not be operating the lot in the usual fashion. Don't be too disappointed though because you can still get your beautiful Christmas Tree from Papa Elf's. Instead of coming to a lot to buy the tree, all the trees will be sold through a pre-order system. Details for how to do that will follow. Many of you are aware that we have been giving trees away to those who cannot afford them. We do that through the generation donations form some of you and several businesses and churches in the area. This through the Clover School district and also McAdenville elementary near Christmas Village, we have a request for over 500 trees for needy families. we need your help to get that job done Right now we have enough for about 20 trees. There is a lot of room left to cover this need. Here is how we need you help:
-we need donations
-We need volunteers for distributing the trees the week and weekend of thanksgiving.
-We need you to spread the word so others can get involved. We have come under the umbrella of an organization called M.A.S.A.. Mothers Against Sexual Abuse. They have been around for over 25 years helping rescue children from the clutches and prisons of sexual abuse. They have been involved in changing the laws in several states to increase the protections for children suffering from abuse. (Visit their website at www.protectthechildren.org) MASA's reach and influence is growing and they have launched the Protect The Children website and organization. protect the Children's influence is allowing MASA to intervene in more than just sexual abuse cases but also focus on physical and emotional abuse. They are also interested in helping prevent these cases from ever happening by getting involved with local groups, like ours, to get into families homes and be able to see first hand what help might be needed. Either through resources, intervention, or just a help up out of a bad circumstance. That is where Papa Elf's gets involved. Through providing a tree, we get into many homes and can access the family dynamics to see if there are further needs that need to be addressed. We have been trained to recognize the signs of physical and sexual abuse in children. When we discover those, they will be dealt with appropriately. You can help us reach these families with your donation and/or purchase of a tree. All profits go directly to Neighbor to Neighbor Ministries, under the tax-deductible covering of MASA/Protect the Children. Here is how to do that:
Go to https://www.protectthechildren.org/donate/ and enter your donation amount. In the "other" field, enter your donation amount. You can donate a 6' tree for a donation of $30. That tree will then be given to a family that has been identified to have that need. Or you can purchase your personal tree in the same place. All profits from the pre-order tree sales will go directly to Merge Ministries/Neighbor to Neighbor to help us with ministry needs through out the year. Those needs could be physical help, legal help, protection purposes, etc. Anything individuals and families may need. We can't help everyone but we will help all we can get to. Prices for the trees are as follows:

5-6' tree - $45
6/7' tree - $55
7/8' tree - $65
8/9' tree - $80
9/10' tree - $90
Enter the amount in the "other" box and we will know what size by the amount. You will receive an auto generated email with your receipt. Send a copy of that to us and we will have the record of your purchase and will have the tree available for you to pick up between Nov. 21-27. Pick up the trees at 233 Catamount Drive in Lake Wylie (next door to last years location)
