When you think of pioneering Napa Valley viticulture, Truchard Vineyards is at the top of the conversation. On Thursday, August 20th, Cork & Knife Clovis is hosting an exclusive 4-course pairing dinner celebrating five decades of cool-climate Napa w**emaking.

We’re honored to be joined in person by Anthony Truchard II, General Manager and second-generation w**e grower. Raised right in the heart of Carneros, Anthony grew up managing rootstocks, working cellar fermentations, and mastering the complex geology of the Truchard estate alongside his father, Tony Truchard. He’ll be guiding us through a curated lineup of their estate w**es, sharing deep insights into their microclimates, sustainable farming practices, and single-vineyard characteristics.

To match the depth and balance of the Truchard lineup, Chef Nikolas Minassian has designed a custom 4-course menu built entirely around highlighting each vintage's flavor profile and structure.

From her early days in Napa to working harvest at Château Cheval‑Blanc in Bordeaux, Anna’s journey has been defined by curiosity, craftsmanship, and connection to the land. Alongside her husband, w**emaker Mario Monticelli, she creates expressive, terroir‑driven w**es that celebrate both New World vibrancy and Old World elegance.

That connection to heritage shines through in M.A. Monticelli Barolo, crafted in collaboration with the historic Franco Conterno family of Barolo. Organically farmed in the famed Bussia vineyards of Monforte d’Alba, this w**e honors the Monticelli family’s Italian roots — a bridge between past and future, tradition and innovation. Elegant, balanced, and deeply expressive, it’s a true reflection of family, place, and passion.
