The weather the end of next week looks good to ship the Dahlia Tubers to the southern states! 🌸

Ill hang on to locals and northern states a bit longer - just in case. Local pick ups- Ill keep you all updated, but ill be looking to clear them out mid March. 🌸 All Dahlia tubers will head to their new homes most likely the end of March or early April unless you instruct me youd like to pick up early. (In which you must have a storage method figured out!)

🌸 Just a heads up, many of this years varieties will NOT be returning next year and I will sell out completely of most of the varieties. If you want a certain variety, make sure to grab it! This year I have focused my Dahlia planning on securing highly sought after varieties as well as a combination of the basic tried and trues. My goal is to offer the basic work horses at lower prices, while also growing a great selection of tough to find Dahlia varieties. Check out my line up so far to grow this upcoming season! 😍

🌸 We are opening up the doors this summer to offer a much wider expansion of cut flowers. Last year was a trial year, as is this year. But, I regretted not growing a vast variety of fillers - so that will be a big adjustment this year.

🌸I have been taking several cut flower arranging classes to learn more about the tips and tricks of the trade. I am excited to bring what Ive learned to life! 💐

🌸 I have grown Gladiolus for 10 years now, and never pull up my Glads. They come back every year for me, and I add new varieties each year. This year I am excited to add hundreds of earth tones to the color pallette! 😍

I have LOTS of mystery tubers at $4.20 which is a fantastic deal. There are many varieties in my mystery pile that arent on the website.

Cameo Peach- A stunning cut flower! One of my biggest producers. She even won me 1st place in the County Fair.

Mystique- In my top 3! 😍 I cant wait to plant her again this year, and she was so prolific for me EVEN being a late planter!

Diva- The camera will never be able to capture her true colors and beauty. A huge producer for me, and shes only $8. Enough said!

Sebastian- So colorful, so prolific, each bloom was so unique!

Lakeview Lucky- If I had a budget to buy one Dahlia, it would be this one hands down. Each bloom is so different from the next. It was one of my earliest blooms, and it pumped out flowers ALLLLLL summer long!

Cornel Bronze- excellent vase life, GREAT for cut flowers, and the camera cant capture this true color! Its most definitely a bronze color.

Black Satin- EXCELLENT tuber production, so prolific, perfect for fall bouquets, and great vase life!

Bride to Be- the perfect white for bridal or special event flowers. Incredibly prolific. And only $8!

Isabel- now THIS flower has a big wow factor because shes purple with ORANGE bits through out her. So unique and pretty!

I have been working on the website to make shopping for the Dahlia Tubers easier! There is now a banner reflecting an inventory count, as well as a filter option to navigate in stock and out of stock options.

⚠️ Anything out of stock is not available for current sale, either im waiting to verify the eyes, keeping to build my own stock, or they didnt do well in storage! Some of these varieties may become available during Spring.

After purchasing your Tubers on Sunday, please wait for an email stating theyre ready for pick up! Normally I have a big box for pick up but its far too cold to keep them out there, so pick up hours will be communicated to you!

🚨 WHAT YOU NEED TO PREPARE:

1.Storage Method- Vermiculite, Peat Moss, Plastic Wrap, Wood Shavings. RESEARCH your best method! I use Vermiculite and plastic shoe boxes. These MUST be stored in a COOL, dark location. 40-50 degrees. Mine are stored in my garage at 40 degrees and high humidity. You must do the research to properly store these until its time to bring them out. I will bring all mine out in March to "wake them up" to plant out early May.

🚚 SHIPPING:

I cant ship these in our single digit weather, so while you can still purchase your Tubers, they will not be ready until its consistently warmer. Dahlia Tubers cannot freeze, so it may be March or April until its safe to ship.

I use Pirate Ship for the best price, and in order to avoid over charging and under charging, I will weigh everyone's packages and send a seperate invoice. Your invoices may reflect a $4 heat pack to be safe.

The Dahlia Tuber Sale is just over 1 week away! 🌸 Sunday, February 1st but the website is currently open for viewing the varieties. I am located in Clymer, NY - half a mile from Edward's Chapel Church & a few miles from Peak N Peek!

Some I only have a very small number of, some I have 15-20 of, so please dont sit on your favorite varieties, because I cant guarantee if theyll be available!

I use Pirate Ship and ship with boxes in bags to get the best pricing. I want to make sure to not over or under-charge anybody!
