Devastating news at ANE FARMS ðŸ˜
Sometime yesterday (middle of the day), while I was working and no one was home, something got into my chicken run. 36 chickens and 3 ducks had their lives taken yesterday. There are oy around 15 or so survivers. There are no words to how I am feeling at the moment. All the time and effort and love for these feather babies ... destroyed. My heart is broken. I am not sure how long it will be before or if I can even get the coops up and running.
To everyone who purchased eggs for me on the regular, please bare with me as ANE recovers from this unspeakable incident.
Malanie (and Muppy) was locked inside yesterday. She ran around that yard tracking whatever came threw, whining and nudging her deceased flock. Absolutely heart breaking.
