This is Dora, our third-ever bottle baby lamb. Just look at that little tail go!!
Our second bottle lamb was named Isadora - we lost her the third day and I don’t like coyotes, enough said 😢 and I wanted a similar-but-not-identical name, because our first bottle lamb was/is Duncan (please tell me if you get it, no one does! Isadora? Duncan? ….?! Am I really that old?!). And Malachi just out of the blue said “her name should be Isa-dora-able”. And so she is :-).
I told the boys that when they go to feed her they are *required* to call “Isa-DOR-a-baaallll” and Malachi totally complies 🥰
There’s just nothing in the world like a baby running to see you like you’re the only reason for existing… and then you remember that you’re holding milk….
