Bless your heart Buddy. Great smile

Dog smiles one last time before saying goodbye at the beach where they first met.

Ten years ago, Sam found a sand‑soaked stray shivering beneath the pier, and he carried him home, named him Buddy, and that strip of sand became theirs.

Cancer came, and the vet said it was time, but Sam wanted their last moments to feel like home; therefore he brought Buddy back to that same spot, spread their old blanket, and shared one warm final meal as the waves rolled in.

Buddy looked up with that goofy, grateful grin, and he rested his head in Sam’s hand and closed his eyes. The last photo caught the smile.
