I’m saddened to share that Captain Chacco “Chip” was humanely euthanized today following a battle all winter season with laminitis after eating contaminated hay. This is the horse that got me back into the show jumping ring, and I’ll forever be grateful for his heart and talent, as it changed the direction of my career. Rest easy Chip, you are already missed.
