I’ve learned in the past month as a cattle farmer in the winter you lose some and you win some! I lost my first calf at the beginnings this month. The loss was hard 1. Because of course a poor baby was gone but 2. More because I was mad there was nothing I could do and I hate feeling helpless to something in need! But today…Today was a good day because I have won! This little girl let me redeem myself I had 2 successful tube feeds and she took her first bottle this evening! She is up moving around and appears to be doing good! Pray she doesn’t take a turn for the worse because we all know anything can happen but I feel pretty confident! My night here on the farm is not done but now I can sit back and relax a little as I sit here in the barn with her and watch her walk around and play around! Thanks y’all for the love and support!!!! 🐮🖤
