Well after six years it finally happened. Two of our ducks were grabbed by an animal. In checking the fence I found a hole. The holes are so easy to miss, especially when the w**d whacking on the farm gets away from you. The ducks and chickens are locked in the coops at sunset every night, so I am not sure when they are getting them. More fencing was added , holes were patched and w**d whacking will be finished soon. Ugh.... It was bound to happen at some point unfortunately.

Weirdest thing is I have yet to find feathers anywhere.

Sorry for no pottery and farm adventures yesterday. After chores we were at the beautiful Otsego Lake learning to sail with the Otsego Sailing Club! Conquering some fears(all mine) and learning something you always wanted to!
Then we got to enjoy some delicious lunch at the Blue Mingo restaurant.

Just a little video of honey bees doing their thing. I am slowly getting them transferred over to their permanent hives.
I like to give them a moment to get themselves settled before an upgrade.
Each new hive is getting drawn out comb and some honey that I saved just for this purpose.
