Story time. We have a ground hog.. well we have several but there is one I see often... CHUCK. I know, original name.
Anyhow yesterday I startled Chuck as I often do and Chuck is not a Chuck. Chuck is a Chick ! Scrambling behind Chick were two miniature versions!
I know, I know Ground hogs are very destructive. The rule on the farm is that everyone stays in their lane. There is enough room for everyone. In other words don't undermine my foundation or eat my veggies or flowers and we can coexist.

Experiment time... Since nothing seems to bother the garlic, I figure we would plant some sunflowers in the middle. By the time the garlic is harvested the sunflowers should be big enough to not be eaten🤔🤞🤞🤞🤞
What do you think...genius or a fools errand?

In case you were wondering how our garlic is doing ... I would say pretty darn good!
BTW.. over 400 head have popped up ... (I lost count LOL)

Today is a w**d whacking/ garden maintenance day LOL. In other words, it's get whatever you can done outside in the amount of time you have. It's never ending.. so many baby roses. They're everywhere. Are you transplanted three and I just found two more to transplant. They must know they're one of my favorite flowers! 🌹🥀🌹
