SUNY Cobleskill Dairy Cattle Club College kids with a passion for dairy cattle and helping to educate our peers, our communities, and the general public about the dairy industry!

Trips, club sponsored contests, and a consignment sale of registered cattle are just some of the activities. It is a welcomed attraction to animal science, dairy, and other majors continuing their education here at Cobleskill. This club is open to any person, from any major interested in cattle.

Day 2:
🐄We were up bright and early for a tour of O-AT-KA milk plant in Batavia, NY. We learned how they make and package their different products like evaporated milk and other coffee products for big brands

🌟Next we stop by Reycrest farm and got to see their amazing calf facilities and some of their show cows!

🎊Lastly members got a tour of Oakfield Corners Dairy. We were able to see their robotic rotary parlor which got everyone's attention! Then we had the opportunity to go see their show cows as well and got to see their Reserve Supreme Champion cow at World Dairy Expo in 2025.

We all want to send a big thank you to all the farms we toured! We had a great weekend!!

Day 1 of our spring trip!!
Yesterday about 20 club members hit the road for the finger lakes region to tour three amazing farms. Two of them are SUNY Cobleskill Alumni!!

We started off touring Vision Quest dairy and got a tour from one of our alumni Kevin Patt! They are a 600 cow dairy with 11 Lely robots.

After, we stopped for a tour of Sunnyside Dairy. They have about 5,000 cows milking on a 100 cow rotary parlor.

To end the day we toured Fesko dairy. They have about 1,100 dairy cows on a 50 cow rotary parlor! Kim and Eric Brayman are also alumni. To end the night we stayed at a campground run by Kim called Happy Pasture Campgrounds.

Dairy cattle club members have had a very busy few weeks!!

‼️Most importantly this week's club meeting will be held at the Cobleskill fair grounds at the dairy barn.
The Dairy Fashion Sale is just over a week away and our sale chairs have been working very hard getting donations and consignments.

🎤✨On the other hand Alex and John participated in Pre-Vet clubs slip sync battle a few weeks ago. We even had a special performance from Tarvis. 🐴💕Congrats to the winners.

🏐Last week some members participated in charity volleyball as well. Good job everyone!!

At today's meeting, members participated in a blind chocolate milk taste test🥛🍫. Each person got four samples of different milk brands and ranked them. We even had a special visit from our very our UPD!

Hi everyone! We are pleased to announce that our annual Ag. Ball Semi-Formal will be held February 26th at The Fancy Farmer!! 🎉
If you are interested in going please come see any dairy cattle club officer or come to our meetings on Thursdays at 12:30 in CANR 310.
Tickets: single $35, double $60
