We have fresh RAW milk in our farm fridge daily. Our cream will rise to the top and you can (if you choose) scoop the cream off and use it for some of your favorite recipes! Just pour your gallon of Sugar Lake Farm milk into a gallon pitcher or a wide mouthed glass jar, so the cream is easy to get to. Nothing quite like fresh cream!

Milk- $5/gallon

Our farm fridge will be available for "self serve" EVERYDAY of the week Monday - Sunday on the honor system.

If you know you will be picking up a few gallons and would like to be sure that we will be fully stocked simply call to have us hold a few gallons for you. We try to do our best at keeping the milk as fresh as possible all the while balancing the amount of milk we keep available.

Great idea!

Implementing sustainable practices doesn't stop at the farm for dairy. Have a gallon of milk or block of cheese that is nearing expiration? Increase your recycling efforts ♻️ and reduce food waste at home with these tips:

🥛 Freeze milk in ice cube trays to make iced lattes that won't become watered down as you enjoy in the summer sun.

🧀 Shredded cheese can be frozen and saved for when you need cheddar in a pinch! Allow the bag to thaw for 24 hours in the refrigerator before using.

🧈 Place butter in its original wrapping into a freezer quality Ziploc bag that will stay frozen and useable for an additional 5-9 months.

Our cows are milked twice a day. We bring them into stalls and give them grain to supplement what they don't get in their diet from grass and hay.

These girls love being outside, but they love being inside too, especially when it gets hot out. During the hot summer days the cows may go out at night when it's cooler and stay in under the fans in their boxstalls/pens during the day to stay cool and comfy.

Comfy, happy cows make delicious milk! 😋

Just our little piece of paradise. 😍

This video is from a couple of weeks ago, but it's a good reminder for me to stop and take a minute to just be thankful. I was bringing the cows in off pasture (well trying to anyway) and I had to stop and just soak it all in. We truly are blessed. 😊

Our cows are loving all the fresh grass and sunshine!

When you stop in to grab a gallon (or two or three 😉), you will most likely see our girls out on the pasture as you drive by. We think it makes a for a beautiful view. 😍

Supporting local means you get to meet the family that cares for the cows, see where the cows call home and know that the money you spend goes right back into your/our community, through our purchases at the local hardware store, repair shop, feed mill, and other area businesses. The price of pork (as well as the cost of everything) keeps going up.

Here's a chance to fill your freezer with our premium milk fed pork. Born at my cousin's, raised by us and fed by our cows. 😉

I have one milk fed pig unspoken for at the butcher that will be processed by Beatty's Country Market in Enon Valley.

We also have another one ready to go in a month.

Giant appreciation post to our regular customers and those who have stopped in and grabbed a gallon over the last several months! You guys have kept us filling jugs and selling milk and we couldn't ask for a sweeter customer base than you!

My husband and I both have full time jobs and our 3 kids keep us hopping, going to basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball practices/games, dairy judging, 4-H meetings, Jr. Holstein activities and cow shows, posting on our farm page has been very much neglected. 😬
