The Maryland Agricultural Resource Council is organized for the benefit of the citizens of Maryland to enhance the rural economy and to foster conservation of agricultural and natural resources through educational and technical services. Vision Statement:

MARC will be recognized by urban, suburban, and rural residents as an important resource for providing educational opportunities to all residen

ts, for providing economic development and business support services to the agricultural sector, and for promoting practices to enhance natural resources. MARC, through its involvement with the Baltimore County Center for Maryland Agriculture & Farm Park (Ag Center), will provide educational activities for students and adults on a site that looks and “feels” like a farm and that is capable of crop production and livestock field
demonstrations. These educational activities and support services will help sustain the county’s significant agricultural industry and will enhance the quality of the rural environment.
