We just harvested our garlic scapes and they are fresh and ready to be eaten now!

Garlic scapes are the developing flower of hardneck garlic plants and cutting them off forces the garlic to send its energy into growing bigger bulbs. So, it directs the plant to grow down instead of up! They have a short season because it’s a one time harvest, so get them now while they are available!
Roast them with some butter, they taste like a sweet garlic veggie🌱 Yummy🤤
