So for several weeks now I have been getting some of the cutest mottled from my fun pen. I have a Chocolate split to mottled boy and a black mottled boy over random colored girls none of which are split to mottled. & yes I am certain because these girls are all a couple generations in here as my breeding & I just more recently had mottled brought in around this pen… Going by genetics they *should* be split babies… but I have hatched many mottled babies, not splits. 🙃 it’s going to be interesting to see how they grow… I’ve gotten chocolate, black & a very light blue.
