Don’t you just LOVE when you have to eat your words to your spouse? 😂🍑

At least this time, I got to eat the juiciest peaches ever while doing it! 🤣

We picked these beauties tonight, ate them over the sink, and then immediately went back out for more. They were THAT good. 🍑😍

So, I stand corrected, dear… you absolutely CAN grow amazing, fully grown, ridiculously juicy, organic peaches in a short North Idaho growing season. 😘

Hoping our four trees produce more than enough to share next season! 🌿🍑❤️

Apparently, the peaches had something to prove. 😉

Well... this year's huckleberry haul was... humbling?😆🤣

Between 6 of us, we managed to pick a grand total of... about ⅓ of a gallon. 🤦🏼‍♀️ A far cry from the 5 gallons we brought home last year!

The berries may have been scarce, but we couldn't resist turning them into something special. 💜

Fresh Huckleberry Muffin Loaves at the farm stand tomorrow morning!

Stop by in the morning and let us know what you think!

Around here, huckleberries are worth their weight in gold. 🧈+🫐=😋

🦄✨NomiDough! ✨️🦄

Kid-friendly sensory dough is here at The Hatcher Homestead Farm Stand!

Made with 3 simple ingredients, it's safe, non-toxic, smells like vanilla or chocolate, and is topped with the cutest sprinkle mix-ins for hours of imaginative play. 🌈✨
Because little hands love to explore... and sometimes little mouths do too. 😉 NomiDough is made with safe ingredients, but it's made for play, not for snacking.

Our daughter, Naomi Grace, LOVES all these trending slime and dough products, but they're so full of toxic scents & ingredients so we let her do a little digging to find an alternative we could put in the stand so other kiddos can enjoy it, too! We had so much fun with the sprinkles! The cocoa ones turned out so cute!🍫🍦

How did he know? 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Somehow my husband just knew I'd popped into my favorite garden center before my appointment... and somehow I never leave empty-handed! 🌿💚 🙄

This little haul included:
🍎 2 apple trees
🍐 2 pear trees
🍇 2 grape vines
🌹 2 climbing roses
🦋 2 butterfly bushes

I'd call that a successful detour! 😘🙌

The Hatcher Homestead orchard is absolutely THRIVING in this summer heat, and it's so rewarding to watch everything we've nurtured take off!!💕

Our fall project list is growing right along with the orchard—expanding the sunflower field, planting more trees (can't wait to start digging those holes! 😜), and continuing to bring more life to this little piece of land.

Watching what was once a dry field become filled with butterflies, birds, ladybugs, blooms, and abundant life has been one of the greatest blessings. 🌻🐦🐞

Every season makes The Hatcher Homestead dream feel more like reality.

🌿 Homestead Therapy 🌿

Sometimes the best kind of therapy doesn't happen indoors... it happens with your hands in the soil, the sun on your face, and a basket full of fresh, local goodness.

Gardening reminds us to slow down, breathe deeply, and celebrate the simple joys. Every tomato, zucchini, pepper, and handful of greens is a reminder that good things take time to grow.

When you shop local and eat with the seasons, you're not only enjoying produce at its freshest and most flavorful—you’re supporting neighbors, reducing food miles, and investing in your local community.

So come soak up a little Homestead Therapy with us. 🌻 Fill your basket, nourish your family, and enjoy the beauty of what's growing right here at home.

We'll be here with fresh, seasonal produce, homemade treats, and a little slice of country peace waiting for you. 🤍
