One aspect of oyster farming we enjoy is seeing the creatures that benefit from the structure of the farm. One such creature is the ruddy turnstone, a widespread species of migratory shore bird.
These scavengers like to comb through our recently flipped cages for marine invertebrates like this barnacle.
