I don’t really like the texture of canned potatoes so I wanted to buy a few turnips to put in my home canned vegetable beef soup. But the store was out of turnips so I thought I’d substitute rutabagas.

Good grief. $3.17 for ONE rutabaga? Please remind me to grow some next year.
