It’s Never Too Late....
Mark and Debbie are farmers now. Wha?!? We didn’t see it coming either but we can’t imagine doing anything else now. We grow organic crops sustainably for us and our family and friends in the middle of nowhere on our own little patch of Eden. With the help of three Great Pyrenees dogs, we take care of our small herd of registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, assorted chickens, guineas, barn cats, and lap dogs. We give them the very best life we can provide and in return they provide us with milk, eggs, cheese, meat, love, loyalty, and endless entertainment. We’ve stopped complaining about the genetically modified foods that come from grocery stores grown with chemicals and hormones (don’t get us started!) and we’ve done something about it. We are healthier for the effort and the food is unbeatable. And this way of life is just good for the soul.
We give our deepest gratitude to Bob and Dee Gibbs at Rolling Hills Farm. They are our source for most of our goats. Dee knows goats. She’s got good goats, really good goats. Good milking bloodlines are extremely important to us. Bob and Dee are kindred spirits and dear friends.
Shoutouts go to our family and friends who didn’t dismiss us when we started this journey. They gave us their full support and rolled up their sleeves and pitched in to make our farm a reality. We love you all.
