Lisa's Sweet Somethings

Lisa's Sweet Somethings I started decorating cookies this past Christmas. I discovered that they're a lot of fun to do and just as much fun to eat. The cookies are about 1/4" thick.

The cookies are either a vanilla/almond or lemon flavor decorated with almond or lemon royal icing. The royal icing isn't like the soft buttercream frosting that you get on a lot of cookies but more of a candy coating type icing that sets up and allows for the decorating. Well it's finally cooling down around here and cookie season (for me) is beginning. I've got Christmas themed wedding shower cookies to do and maybe some for a Breast Awareness event. Bo***es anyone?

Wishing it wasn't too hot to bake. And yes... it does get too hot IMO. May have to whip up a bunch of p.nut butter cups. My sweet tooth is sayin' FEEEED MEEEE!
