Dream On Cattle Company Keith and Lisa Kuehn are building their ranch from the ground up with sweat and tears. Raising heifers for the show ring that perform in the pasture.

Dream On Cattle Company began ten years ago when Keith and Lisa Kuehn came home to the Kansas Oklahoma border and bought their first few acres and ten cows. Since that time, the herd has grown, the acreage has grown and so has the debt. So we joke that we keep Dreaming On that someday our cattle ranch will pay for itself! But truly, our ranch is a labor of love and we both work day jobs to support

our cattle habit until it can pay for itself! The ranch is not complete without ranch hands and we have three. Makenna at age 13 love showing but even more loves her calves. When not working with her calves, Makenna loves playing softball! Trinity at nearly 12 is all about working her calves and takes offense when they don’t have “manners.” She enjoys softball, choir and all around goofing when she is not busy. Our little man Weston has been hanging in the barn since he could walk and loves to go showing. We often call him environmental services as his favorite thing to do is work the pitchfork! But enough about us, we run a small herd of mostly registered Maine-Anjou cows with a few Simmental and Chi and Lisa's newest Miniature Herefords. We work hard to find quality genetics that will produce heifers and steers designed for today’s cattle industry. We have high quality sires on site but also artificially inseminate with some of the best sires in the nation. If you are around Southeast Kansas, stop by, we can always talk cattle.

#926 is out of L1 and a yearling. She will be bigger framed. But in terms of looking like a great cow, she’s got it.

#999 is the gentlest if the bunch and super sweet. She is out of my favorite cow Bo Peep. She hurt her foot as a calf but gets around fine. She’s a yearling and bunk broke.

#950 is the smallest of the three heifers. She’s out of Jeri Sue and born late 2019. She can be papered. Bunk broke and gentle but not halter broke.

Our Story
