Started the day overcast and dreary. By late afternoon it was sunny and feeling great. Finished up for the night just as sprinkles started to fall. Was a good day! Hopefully we get some rain out of this storm, even though it would be nice to finish up spreading fertilizer. Will see what tomorrow brings. Good night yall.

Farm Laborer Wanted

Pease Farms/Pease Seeds is a row crop operation and seed business. We are looking for a seasonal farm laborer/seed salesman. Could turn into Full-Time for right candidate.
Individual must be self motivated and hard working. Must be respectful of equipment and land. Ability to operate equipment such as , Tractors, planters, auger carts, augers, shredders, skid steer and mini excavator. CDL not required but is a bonus. Ability to work on equipment is a bonus. Sales/Agronomy experience is a bonus.
Pay dependent on experience.
Paid time off.
Hours vary by season. Planting and Harvest are longer hours.

Housing not included.

Been trying to do a lot of cleanup while the weather is nice. Also working on planters, getting geared up to haul grain out of the bags in the fields.
