Winny the Parlap of Heidehof Farm... 😅
Pharlap was Initially dismissed as awkward, gangly, and unpromising even losing his first few races. His underdog status gave people hope during the early years of the Great Depression 🐎
Getting Winny started with Rachael Rhodes under saddle last week, Winny reminds me of the ugly duckling story of Pharlap!! I'm quite surprised at how much fun this little diamond in the rough is!! Winny, your our little Pharlap. 🥰

Meadow View Farm! You did a fantastic first ever Dressage schooling show yesterday!!! 🏆
We had such a great time!! (depspite the bitter blustering glacial 25 mph wind!!🥶🤣) Helena Rouhe Beat Thank you for judging & sharing your day with all of us - friends who freeze together stay together 🥶🤣
Rachael Rhodes You were such a strong competitor not only being at your very first Dressage venue, but riding in it - despite frozen digits!!!! Hopefully next time we can stay the day and actually enjoy the full show!! 🤣

Yes, with Britney Hansen, welcome to the Heidehof, Freeman! Bred, raised and started by Stefanie Huthmann in Germany, whom I have known for 30 years! When I first saw her ad about him, I was taken right away! He tolerated the 8 day trip like a champ, though he did lose weight, but is already gaining it back. He is a real sweetheart, and very smart! I'm very attached already! The brief video is the first time he got to stretch his legs, and was such a good boy!
