Our seedlings are all happy and healthy and growing! And it feels like the in ground planting season is fast approaching.
This year we would primarily like to take pre-orders as it works out better for us in this season of life 👨👩👧👦
Currently I am accepting orders for tomatoes, peppers, and herbs and am happy to put together a pack. Each plant will be planted in either a 4" cowpot or plastic container. All seeds are non-gmo, organic, heirloom, and/or unsprayed. Everything is planted in Vermont Compost Fort Vee potting soil. (If you'd like to check out our seed suppliers: MI Gardener, High Mowing, and Berlin Seeds)
Tomatoes: I have a tomato problem! We are trying several new varieties this year. But we also have a few repeats from last year that we loved so much that we had to grow them again. Let me know what you'd like and I can customize a pack for you (4/pack, $10 or you can buy an individual plant for $3). We have:
Slicers
Cherries
All purpose varieties (good for fresh eating and canning/sauces)
Beefsteaks
If you would like to know the varieties please ask because it would seriously be overwhelming if I listed them!
Peppers:
Santa Fe Grande (a bit of heat, but not too much)
Sweet Banana
Serrano Tempiqueño (orange toured, some heat, good for hot sauces, pickled, and drying)
Cubanelle (versatile- grilling, salads, soups)
Pepperoncini
Herbs:
Tulsi Basil
Burgundy Basil
Dill
Parsley
Cilantro
Eggplant:
We do have some, but very few. They didn't do well germinating this year. There is a Turkish orange variety and another called little fingers.
We will also have sunflowers (procut varieties), cucumbers (pickling and slicer varieties), melons (watermelon, canteloupe), and squash (yellow and green, winter varieties). If you'd like to request any of these please let me know when you place your order for your tomatoes and peppers. Kale also available on request. I'm also happy to help you throughout the growing season with any questions you may have! We are always learning over here, so if we don't know we can find out :). Nothing makes us happier than seeing friends and family grow nourishing food for themselves.
Please comment below or send me a message so that we can put together your order. You can mix and match all plants for packs. And all varieties are good to use in container gardening. I hope everyone is enjoying the weather and getting excited for another great growing season!
