Pistachio Biscotti. Our newest micro batch.

Cashew-almond base. Chunks of pistachio. Almond extract. Olive oil. Vermont maple sugar.

Our first time using pistachios in five+ years of making nut butter. We didn’t want to make what everyone else is making. We wanted to make something that means something to us.

Our friend Mike put it on vanilla ice cream and poured a shot of espresso over the top. I didn’t tell him to do that. He just did. And now I can’t stop thinking about it.

That layer of oil on top?
It’s not a flaw—it’s proof.
 
Proof we didn’t use palm oil to fake the texture.
Proof we didn’t cut corners with fillers or additives.
Proof we still make nut butter the way it should be made.
 
Most big brands add palm oil so you don’t have to stir.
But behind that “convenience”?
→ Over 60,000 football fields of rainforest destroyed each year
→ Wildlife like orangutans losing their homes
→ Refined oil with minimal nutritional value and unnecessary saturated fat.
 
And the label tricks don’t stop there:
“Nut spreads” only need 60% nuts.
 
The rest? Cheap stuff you didn’t ask for.
(“Nut butter” has to be at least 90%.)
 
At , we never use palm oil—period.
Some of our flavors are just roasted nuts and salt. Others are sweetened with Vermont maple sugar or blended with ingredients like vanilla bean, cacao nibs, or extra virgin olive oil.
 
But every jar is made from real food—no fillers, no refined junk.
 
The texture? It comes from the natural oils in the nuts themselves—and in some cases, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Never an industrial oil blend.

If you're from vermont, you're probably familiar with a maple creemee. We aren't so it was new to us! Dairy and maple are slow churned into a frozen dessert - this nut butter from Mixed Up Foods is an homage to that Vermont tradition!

Primarily a cashew base, this cashew and pecan blend uses maple sugar and vanilla to create that creemee flavor.

Try this as a replacement for your everyday peanut butter or a splurge from a plain almond butter. Drizzle over oatmeal and top with some mini chocolate chips or chopped pecans. If you're feeling ambitious, replace peanut butter in homemade peanut cups with this Maple Creemee! How would you use it?

Every flavor we make has its own unique journey, but one thing stays the same: our dedication to creating a product that’s as good for your body as it tastes. 🦸‍♂️

Originality matters to us, which is why our biggest fans are really our biggest fans. We stick to tree nuts and minimally processed ingredients, like Vermont maple sugar—no gluten, dairy, palm oil, seed oils, zero-calorie sweeteners, or ‘natural flavors’ here. 🍃
