After lots of encouragement (and maybe a slight obsession with gardening) I’ve decided to start sharing my fresh eggs, herbs, flowers and seasonal garden baskets.

Well, that’s a wrap on fresh garden veggie season! The garden has officially clocked out, and honestly, after the summer it’s had, I can’t blame it. 🌱✌️

We’ve had a busy little end-of-season over here: Dex got the snip and is milking his recovery for all the sympathy he can get, a fresh batch of tiny nuggets moved into Cluckingham Palace, and Mr. Beans is still trying to figure out if he wants to adopt them or eat them 😅 I’ve been plotting out fall baskets between chicken checks and dog cuddles. 🐶🐥🍂

Now I’m shifting into cozy-season mode. Stay tuned, soup baskets are coming this fall, along with some other fun surprises because nothing says “it’s getting chilly” like a pot of soup and a basket that saves you from figuring out dinner. 🍲 Don’t forget fresh eggs are always available

I’ve been a little quiet because I’ve been busy working on Cluckingham Palace…apparently my chickens now require luxury accommodations while I continue living like a peasant. 😂👑

🌿🐓 THE GARDEN COTTAGE IS STOCKED! 🐓🌿

Come raid the garden stand today because apparently my garden has decided normal vegetables are boring. 😂

We’ve got some fun little garden weirdos out there right now, including:

💜 Purple peppers
🍋 Lemon cucumbers
🍫🍅 Chocolate Sprinkle cherry tomatoes
🥒 Cucamelons…and YES, you can literally pick one straight off the vine because apparently even the stand wants to grow things now. 😂🌱

You’ll also find fresh squash, zucchini, tomatoes, herbs, garden snacking goodies and whatever else the garden decides to cough up today.

💚 A little reminder: While everything has a price listed, the stand is always TAKE WHAT YOU WANT, PAY WHAT YOU CAN. Seriously. If you can use it, take it. If you can pay the listed price, awesome. If you can’t, pay what you can. I’d much rather see good food go home with someone than sit here looking pretty.

🧊 DON’T FORGET TO CHECK THE FRIDGE! There may be some extra goodies hiding in there too. 👀

🐔 Still Here, Still Cluckin’! 🌻💐🥒

I know I’ve been a little quiet over here lately, but I promise Cute as Cluck is still very much open and taking orders! ❤️

The last couple of weeks have been… well… a bit of a sh*tshow. 😂 Between losing our chicken enclosure, losing much of our flock to a coyote, and now working our butts off rebuilding a safer, stronger home for the girls, most of my extra time has been spent in construction/chicken mama crisis mode. 🔨🐓

BUT…the garden is still growing, the flowers are still blooming, and I’m still actively taking orders for dinner baskets, fresh cut flowers, veggies, herbs, eggs when available, and all the Cute as Cluck goodies you know and love. 🌸🍅🥒🌿

So if you haven’t seen me posting as much, don’t mistake the silence for being closed…I’m just over here trying to run a tiny garden business while rebuilding Chicken Fort Knox. 😂

We’ve had a little more “cluck” than luck lately. 💛

About a week ago, a tree came down and completely destroyed our chicken enclosure, leaving us to rebuild it from scratch.

Then, just as we were getting started on the new setup, a coyote got into the yard and took more than half of our flock…hens that I had raised from eggs right here at home. It was a heartbreaking loss, and we’re now down to just six hens.

The good news? We’re not giving up.

Every bouquet, basket, dozen eggs, and garden goodie you purchase from our little stand helps us rebuild what was lost and create a safer home for our feathered girls.

And there’s a little silver lining… two of our hens have been faithfully sitting on eggs, so if all goes well, we’ll be welcoming some adorable baby chicks in just a few weeks. 🐣❤️

Around here, perfectly round and perfectly normal are… honestly a little suspicious.

We’ve got 🍅 tomatoes that look like they lost a fight with a pumpkin…

🥚 eggs that make you wonder if the chickens are trying to hatch dinosaurs…

💛 giant golden zucchini that skipped the “normal size” memo…

🍋 lemon cucumbers that look like lemons but definitely aren’t…

🍉 tiny cucomelons that are basically watermelon’s adorable little cousins…

Because the best things in the garden don’t come off an assembly line, they come with personality.
