Genetics are so cool.
The hen that laid these green eggs was hatched out of the same blue eggs pictured. Back crossed to a black copper Maran to get this gorgeous hunter green color. These pullets are just starting to lay. I have so many other colors and speckles that will be laying by next spring!

This was the first time using hatching bags, and some eggs were destroyed in the hatch process so they couldn’t be used for pics 😩
