I know the suspense has been killing you. Latest fix/invention.

So today's addition of life on the farm:
A famous saying in the cattle business is "everyday we're just trying to keep cows from committing su***de". I say this because I have a group of heifers penned with a Hudson valve on the water trough (cows are terrible plumbers). Everyday they think it's really cool to knock said Hudson valve out of trough to water the grass downhill or maybe they just like to hear the water run. Either way the trough is empty and they're thirsty everyday. You have to be inventive to own cattle. I'll try to remember to take pictures to show my latest invention. Hope it works. Until next time, EAT BEEF.

What a wonderful day to fix fence in North Mississippi. 92 degrees with humidity of 147%. That's all. Rant over.

I see a lot of people asking about local beef. Just because it's local doesn't mean it's farm raised. Here at Lazy B Farms the animals we offer are born here, raised here, grass fed, grain finished, all natural Mississippi Angus Beef. It just doesn't get any better.

On January 91st, I believe "Fern" has bonded with its mother.

Sometimes your home is the only warm place to save these babies. She was born right before dark to a first calf heifer and I knew she wouldn't make it through the night being still wet. Now to try to get her back with her mama.
