Just located some very hard to find Galaxy hops from Australia. Galaxy has a unique hop aroma, described as a combination of citrus and passionfruit. We have some on order and are thinking of using them for an "out of this world" Imperial IPA!

WIN A BALSAMS BREWING COMPANY BALL CAP! Want to help us out and win a free "Balsams Brewing Company ball cap in the process? Were looking for suggestions for naming two of our upcoming beers. Both of the beers are ales, one being an Imperial IPA (India Pale Ale), the other being a totally radical ale made with chanterelle mushrooms. Names need to be catchy, not too long AND MUST contain some reference to the local landmarks and regions of northern New Hampshire or closely adjacent areas in Vermont, Maine or Quebec. Examples of our present names meeting this criteria are our: "Abeniki Lake Amber Ale" and "White Mountains Wit", along with our soon to be "Poore Farm Porter" and "Maynesboro Stud Maple Stout". Just post your suggestions on our page and make as many suggestions as you wish. Two winners will be selected in September, one for the IPA and one for the chanterelle ale. Good luck!
