The future of the Charolais breed is in good hands! These two young breeders made their own sale/purchase this weekend. Josie decided to sell one of her bred cows and Brody decided to purchase her. Josie had to state her initial asking price, Brody had to state his offer, and they both had to agree on the final sale. Yes, dad had to loan Brody the money until he sells his steer at the fair this summer. But watching these two strike a deal, Josie make a sale, and Brody make a purchase on their own should remind everyone why we do this. Congrats to Brody and Josie. We have 20 registered Charolais females up for discussion, including bred cows, bred heifers, and spring replacements. Videos taken when it was 20 below. Great conditioned cattle and bred right. Here at the ranch, we have a lot to look forward to in 2026. We ended the 2025 show year at Badger Brawl, as we prepare to campaign the 2026 year with these 2 Bred and Owned heifers from the core of our herd. "Kokomo" and "Kinsley" will continue to hit the show ring this year, while next month Dalila will begin working with her fall bred and owned calf, "Kittles".

We also are working on a BIG list of females that will be available private treaty next week. Spring bred cows, spring bred heifers, and spring replacement heifers will all be on the list, along with select list of spring yearling bulls. 20 females and 5 bulls all sell! Be sure to watch for details and reach out with any questions or for more info!
