Meet Mabel — the heart behind our garden. 🌿💚
Years ago, Mabel, who works full-time as part of our La Prima kitchen team, quietly took on another role: caring for our urban garden.
She had no formal gardening experience. Just curiosity, determination, and a willingness to learn.
And learn she did.
Mabel has spent countless hours planting, tending, watering, experimenting and nurturing our garden into what it is today: a thriving little oasis filled with fresh herbs, vegetables, edible garnishes and beautiful flowers.
What she grows makes its way into our kitchen and onto our tables, adding that extra touch of freshness and beauty that can only come from something grown with care.
For a company that has long believed in seasonal cooking, sustainability, and respecting where our food comes from, our garden is something we’re incredibly proud of.
But we’re even prouder of Mabel.
Her dedication, patience and genuine love for this garden can be seen in every corner of it—and in every one of these photos.
So today, we’re giving the spotlight to the woman behind the garden. 🌱
