Shorthorn plus bull and heifer calves available. Born late January/Early February. Shorthorn cows on a red American influenced bull.

Bull calf can be registered as a shorthorn plus bull, or we think he could class American and be a good county show prospect.

The heifer calf can be registered shorthorn plus as well. Good option for someone looking to add some color to their herd.

Both have been on nothing but pasture as of these pictures but will be started on creep feed here the next week.

Say hello to the newest addition to Casares Cattle Co. ! She is our first embryo heifer and is out of our foundation cow (who sadly is no longer with us) and sired out of Trump! Shorthorn Plus Bull calf born February 5th. Bull was a red brangus pasture bull. We originally thought this calf was going to be a sale barn calf, but the more we look at him, the more we think he may not be a bad county steer prospect! For reference, the roan heifer next to him is a week OLDER than him. Let us know if you or anyone you know may be interested in an affordable steer option!

Really loving how our Starburst (Sire) X Trump (dam) is coming along! By far one of the best calves we have produced. She is going to be a great replacement for us down the road, but hopefully will be hitting the show ring before that! Too good of a prospect to keep out of the ring!

This purebred registered shorthorn heifer prospect is only going to be available for a couple more weeks before we move her to our young heifer pasture to become one of our replacement females for next year! She is an early March 2021 female sired by Kane Captain and out of one of our best females. Today was the first day putting a halter on her and she seems to have a pretty good demeanor for a younger showman once she is completely halter broke. Please keep in mind that this heifer has had no feed or supplementation, so she is green! See comments for video taken today.
